Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised from Sydney, Australia. She went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone was first introduced to acting when was a young child. She played roles in Me Myself and The Farm. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer as well in the category of Best Supporting Artist, for her role in The Kid. In addition to her work in theatre, she's had a role on TV, in supporting roles such as All Saints or Spirited. The actress was on the screen from 2010 until the year 2011 on The Diary of a Madman. As a result of this role she was awarded a nomination in the Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. The Diary of a Madman was a production of an ensemble of the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011 she returned to Sydney to perform the main parts of A Golem Story (a story about the character of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll and As You Like It.
