Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, the physician, along with Thelma Henson, the homewife she was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th of 1942, in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. Her piano skills were exceptional as a teenager and she won the national competition in the Chicago Music Festival at just 13 years old. Then, in Fort Collins, Colorado she settled with her family. She completed the high school in Fort Collins High School and was graduated in 1960. To improve her professional prospects she relocated from Colorado to Los Angeles.
